Take that Google: Dodge Rebels Against Robots in New 2011 Charger Commercial


The future, as we imagine it now, may be full of robots doing all kinds of things for us humans, including driving our cars. As some scientists over at Google recently proved, driver-less vehicles may become a reality sooner than we expect, so here's what an automaker that produces cars for drivers has to say about this issue.

In the Chrysler Group’s latest commercial for the 2011 Dodge Charger called “The Future of Driving”, we are presented with a gloomy future, in which robots control all aspects of our lives, from choosing our diet and wardrobe to even walking our pet dogs. The hero of the commercial has nothing to say about all these things, but when a robot invites him to sit on the passenger seat of his own car, things get a little bit out of control...

Real Life Fast Five: What is the Ultimate Heist Vehicle? [Video]


Inspired by a scene from the upcoming Fast Five film or as some fans refer to it, Fast and Furious 5, in which the protagonists try out different cars to find the right one for a risky heist, the folks over from Autotopia set out to test numerous tuned cars on a race track to see which one is best suited for the task.

The cars they chose for the test include the AE Performance Nissan 370Z used in the movie Fast Five; Autotopias’ Ford Cargo Van; DC Motors Mercedes Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series; Gintani BMW X5M; Heintz Ford Mustang GT 5.0; MFEST E60 BMW M5; OE Tuning Mercedes Benz C63 AMG; Airtiger Express Nissan GTR R35; Tesla Motors Roadster Sport and finally, the Team Wu Dodge Charger Police Car.

Dead or Alive? Not so long ago, Chrysler said that the Dodge Viper is the past, but later appeared to the development of a new version of this popular car, and this week appeared next to this confirmation. Dodge Viper got a new logo.

The new model will be available in 2012, completely redesigned and largely Italian, but more on that later.

Last week, a forum was held owners of Dodge Viper, were about 800 people in Salt Lake City, the so-called Viper Owner Invitational, which has not received such publicity, such as the Paris Motor Show.

This case was a perfect opportunity to introduce a new logo for the Viper, in addition, it became known that the new version may be based on the platform of Fiat, the one used for the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.

It is also said that the new Dodge Viper has been previously presented to dealers of the company, two weeks ago, and was named the car as the 17th model in the series. "

Here are the first pictures of the new Dodge Charger 2011 with no camouflage or disguise. We recover the surly front of the current version with a muzzle totuefois seems more prominent and aggressive than the current model.


A photograph on that one even comes to look to find a low-end when you look at the side of the car ... probably in unison with the dashboard that you found surprisingly old-fashioned way with its aluminum-colored plastic in the past bomb ...


It remains a very self, even too American that we must still go a little because its platform can be found under the body of some Italian in the years to come! Notice how the rear of the Charger is somewhat reminiscent of the back of some Ford Probe in the mid 90s.
